J.J. is a rescued Dalmation cross from Central Mexico. We believe he had been owned and was most likely neglected or mistreated. Once you get to know him and he knows you and respects you he is a big loveable goof of a dog. The most essential requirement for J.J.'s new guardian is that they be a strong leader, as J.J. is a stubborn and challenging boy. He is fine with other dogs, in fact he is the submissive one and can be picked on by other more dominant dogs. It is possible that J.J. has a hearing problem. He also likes to guard his blankets, toys, and even his person. J.J. requires:
strong dog-experienced leader, both physically and in training
large fenced yard
someone home most of the day
lots of exercise and obedience training
This big boy deserves a chance. If you are looking for a companion and a dog to train one on one this is the guy.
